Sugar Creek's Pygmy Goats

OUR GOATS ARE NOT FOR FOOD, Pets Only!

All our goats are pets, handled, hand fed and pet on/loved DAILY! All are gentle and easy to be around - including 'Billy Bob' and 'Rusty'!

We have a total of 15 nanny goats and 2 billy goats

Spring 2012 Kids are Arriving! - Check these Darlings Out!!!

All kids are/will be for sale - deposits of 1/2 down taken until weaning

Available kids will be ready around Easter at the 3 month mark

We do not believe in taking babies away from their momma's to be 'bottle' babies so they are/will not be available until they are at least 3 months old. Even though they are on their nanny's, they still get a bottle a couple times a day to aid in taming/gentling them. Deposits of 1/2 down are taken until weaning.

Our Nanny Goats (Does)

'Nana

(for Banana Split)

Even though Nana is a Boer/Pygmy cross, we still purchased her for her disposition, she is a WONDERFUL girl and has some pretty kids for us. Nana is pictured above with last years triplets in her belly!

Triplets yet Again!

'Nutty' short for 'Nutterbutter' (Brown/White doeling), 'Fudge' (black/white buck) and 'Sundae' (black/white doeling) arrived January 20, 2012

'Nutty' and 'Fudge' are the only 2 FOR SALE in this family

'Silver'

A stand-offish girl but once she knows you, you can't get away!

'Gem' and 'Jade' arrived January 18, 2012

'Gem' & 'Jade' are out of 'Billy Bob' and 'Silver'

Pictured January 19, 2012 in their 'sweater's' to keep warm!

'Skye'

Skye is due to kid the spring of 2012

'Monster'

Picture Coming Soon!

Can't explain this name! She is sweet yet she can look at you and have a certain look in her eye that will give you goose bumps!

'Monster' kidded triplets February 17th, sadly one of the boys didn't make it.

'Cleo' (doeling) and 'Deuce' (buckling) are both black/white (mostly white)

'Deuce' is FOR SALE

'Lightning'

Lightning came with her sister, 'Thunder', (listed below) both are out of our old billy, 'Chaos' who no longer resides with us. Lightning is still wild but coming around quickly.

'Belle'

Picture Coming Soon

'Abby' arrived January 20, 2012

Black/white doeling

'Abby' is out of 'Billy Bob' & 'Belle'

Pictured January 20, 2012 just a couple hours after kidding

'Ginger'

Pictured as a doeling in March 2011

Kidded February 2011 - Brown painted/spotted doeling

Ginger was a bottle baby, she is full of life and if trouble could be made or found, she WILL be there!

Pictured January 2012

'Clover' (black/white doe) & 'Spice' (brown/white doe) arrived January 26, 2012!

'Clover' & 'Spice' are NOT for sale

'Sugar'

Sugar is as sweet as her name, a little shy and stand-offish at first but once she comes around she is like velcro!

Christmas Day 2011 we had a barn fire, all our doe's were in the barn since they are all so close to kidding. Our poor Sugar is one of 2 who suffered from burns - you can see the discoloration in her coat.

'Cane' and 'Splenda' arrived January 22, 2012

Sadly we lost 'Splenda' the first of February

'Cane' is FOR SALE

'Shadow'

Picture Coming Soon!

'Shadow' has a black set of twins at side - a buckling and a doeling

The Buckling is FOR SALE

'Grace' arrived January 19, 2012

Pictured January 20, 2012

'Sweet Pea'

'Sweet Pea' is out of 'Rose' (listed below)

'Lucky' and 'Charm' arrived January 18, 2012 via c-section & are out of 'Billy Bob'

Pictured above 15 minutes after being 'pulled' from Sweet Pea's belly - this whole family survived not only a barn fire but a traumatic kidding process which ended in a c-section therefore we couldn't name them anything other than 'Lucky' and 'Charm'

Pictured January 20, 2012

'Lucky' is a (black/white) buckling & 'Charm' is a (gray/white) doeling

'Charm' will be going to the Ellis family!

'Lucky' is still available!

'Thunder'

Thunder is out of our past billy, 'Chaos'. We found both Thunder and her sister, 'Lightning', at a sale and found that they were actually out of Chaos. Couldn't pass them up. Thunder is as wild as they come and ALWAYS in trouble and climbing!

'Rose'

'Trouble' arrived January 19, 2012

The name 'Trouble' comes due to this being the only kid on the place constantly getting into situations he needs us human mommas to get him out of!

Black/white buckling    FOR SALE

Pictured January 19, 2012 in his 'sweater' to keep warm!

Our Billy Goats (bucks)

'Billy Bob'

MollyAnn thought he looked like a 'Billy Bob', I thought he looked like a 'Shaggy' when we saw him but she evidently won! He has a fabulous disposition and loves human affection. He is NOT your typical billy!

Amazing at how this guy 'stamps' his babies! A good half of his little kids look JUST like him - same markings and all! Doelings for the most part are taking after their nannies thus far this year.

'Rusty'

Rusty is as sweet as they come. He will follow you around like a dog and is affectionate.
